“Sis?”
“What are you doing, you shouldn't be outside.” You hushed him, quickly rushing to his side.
“What were those noises? Is there a fight going on?” He asked, looking up at you with his pitiful eyes.
“Something like that...” You honestly answered, taking his shoulders and trying to lead him away. “Quickly, let's go somewhere safer... I'll explain this later-”
“Heads up!!” Someone had yelled before the ground began to shake violently, a cloud of dust picking up. You yelp, grabbing onto your brother as you both stumble onto the ground. You shield him from the dust a
Night had fallen over the shrine as you were inside the living quarters of the shrine, serving dinner to your little brother. As you ate, you couldn't help but think about how odd the guardian had been acting today. As you tried to recall what had made him in such a mood, your thoughts were interuppted by your little brother.
“Seconds please!” He cheerfully asked, holding up his rice bowl to you. You give him a smile as you take the bowl and refill it with rice but not so much, you knew he was close to full and could not eat an entire bowl.
As you handed him back his small blue bowl, you felt a jolt of energy pulse through your
You're (eye color) eyes stare up at the dark, night sky in shock as you witness something you thought you would never see in your lifetime. The sparks of energy that light up the sky was creating large gusts of wind that threatened to topple over anything in the vicinity that wasn't hammered down. You pressed yourself against the wall of your shrine, praying you wouldn't be swept away in the storm. There were others that took what little refuge by the shrine as you had. A young man with long red hair had a hold of your wrist, making sure you did not fly away in the violent gusts. You were unaware of who these men were but you assumed they had

On a bright, clear afternoon in Japan, a young fox sprawled itself over the front steps in front of the offering box. Basking in the warm glow of the late winter sun, the white fox let out a loud yawn and stretched out his slender legs. He relaxed back down on the wooden steps, smacking his lips. He would lazily open its eyes as visitors came up the stairs to the shrine to pay their respects, standing in front of him as they prayed to the alter. He was a little annoyed at how they would block out his sun but he huffs, letting it go.
His little black nose twitched, taking in the fragrance of something very delicious. His ears perked as he rai

“What are you doing?!” You shout to a group of young boys that were huddled around. They gasp, looking up at you before making a break for it.
“She caught us!”
“Run!” They yelped as they managed to avoid your clutches. You huff, deciding to give up your pursuit. They weren’t worth your time anyway. You were worried about something else.
“______...” A small meek voice whimpered from behind you. You turn around, placing your small hands on your hips as you frowned down at the little boy.
“Ally! I can’t believe you got beat up again!” You walk over to him, looming over

“Miss Mika...” You shyly squeak out from the back dressing room, peeking your head from the curtain.
The young cafe owner walks into the back room, smiling at you as she tilted her head. “Is something the matter?” She asked.
“Nothing is wrong just...” You hesitantly started before slowly stepping out of the changing room, nervously pulling down on your skirt. You blush in embarrassment as Mika claps her hands, bouncing up and down. Your uniform was a light pink maid dress with a fairly puffed out skirt so it appeared shorter than it was but it was enough to make you feel a little uncomfortable. “I'

It's been a day since you went to the interview and you were waiting at home, reading through some birthday cards you parents had sent you. You giggle softly, reading through the good wishes they sent, with some pocket money, which you always were happy about.
You nearly jumped into the air as you cell phone began to go off, playing a childish melody. You grab the cell phone, only to have it slip out of your hands a few times before you finally answered, holding it tightly to your ear.
"H-hello! This is ____!" You nervously said, trying to stop your hands from shaking from the anxiety.
"Hiya!" A cheerful voice replied. "This is Mika from t

Mika paces around the box filled room with a red clipboard, tapping the pen to her chin as she scans the room with her red eyes. She leans down, getting a look of the black letters scribbled onto the sides of the boxes and nods her head, her brown fluffy pigtails bouncing.
"decorations; boxes 1, 2, and 3. Check." She said, crossing off the item on her list. She glances over at a few boxes to the other side of her. "Kitchen supplies; all 4 boxes accounted for. Check."
She continues to pace around the room, avoiding boxes that were piled high and the tables scattered about the large room. After continuing this ritual for a few minutes, she st

"Why do I pack heavy things together? Every single time." Kai grunted as he hauled in the final box into the new cafe. He lets out a grunt as he drops it onto a table, shaking it. He pants, resting his elbow on the box as he looks around, grinning with whatever energy he had left at the moment. "Ah well, least I finished." He said to the empty room.
He takes a moment to grab his red headphone, slinging them over his head, turning on the music. He bobs his head a little as he starts rearranging some boxes around, searching for something.
"Shouldn't have packed it along with all this stuff..." He grumbled. "Aha!" He exclaimed in triumph, pull

"OK, _____, deep breaths and calm down. It's just an interview, you can do this." You whisper to yourself as you walked around the corner, heading to a job interview at a new maid cafe called The Dream Cafe. You clutched your resume and other papers protectively as you sighed. You avoided getting a job until after you have finished high school not only because you were wanting to focus on your studies for a scholarship but also because you were extremely clumsy.
You were hoping that you had "grown out" of this trait but your thoughts were interrupted as you run into something, knocking you down onto the ground. All the papers in your hands
